Common soaps tend to use sulfate-based salts to make their shampoos. This comes in the form of Lauryl Sulfates, mainly Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, or SLS. This can be relativey damaging to anyones roots and inrease the chances of dandruff.
At Serotonin Dreadlocks we either suggest SLS-free soap or using what we call our 'Magic Mixture'
Make sure to use a dropper or spray bottle and lightly drop or spray around your scalp. Gently massage the mixture around your scalp using your fingertips to keep it spread evenly and moisturised.
